Bloomberg Trading Facility BV’s multilateral trading facility, BTFE, is a robust trading platform for trading cash bonds, repos, credit default swaps (CDS), interest rate swaps (IRS), exchange-traded funds (ETF), equity derivatives and foreign exchange derivatives (FX).

By building upon the core technology of Bloomberg’s existing fixed-income, equity and derivative trading platforms – used by more than 1,000 global institutions – Bloomberg’s MTF provides eligible participants access to request for quote and request for trade functionality and liquidity across the Fixed Income asset class.

Bloomberg’s solutions are integrated into one seamless workflow and are suitable for clients on the buy-side and sell-side.

Assets Supported

cash bonds, repos, credit default swaps, interest rate swaps, exchange-traded funds, equity derivatives (OTC Equity Options and OTC Equity Index Options) and foreign exchange derivatives (deliverable forwards; deliverable swaps*; non-deliverable forwards; non-deliverable swaps*; average rate forwards and options).

*FX Swap is a package transaction which consists of two FX Forwards.

Bloomberg has a deep and proven history operating electronic trading platforms for clients and offers them efficient access to clearing.

Regulatory Reporting and Part 6 Disclosure

BTF BV is required to comply with the applicable disclosure requirements set out in Part Six of the Investment Firm Regulation (EU) No 2019/2033.

BTF BV has adopted a comprehensive Conflicts of Interest Policy which is designed to identify and manage conflicts of interest arising in relation to its business lines and (where relevant) Bloomberg Group activities.
